Heavily layered palette knife oil paint to mimic the texture of the bushland I was surrounded by in this forest in the Adelaide Hills. Paying particular attention to the reflection in the spring fed dam and the enormous goldfish I saw pop to the surface every now and then. This place was a peace of heaven and I painted the majority of this work En Plein Air, by the dam.
